The new, 3rd Generation SD-01 is a refinement of the original SD-01 design and see's improvements through the bag.

USGA & R&A test results show this to be the longest Seed we've ever produced, maxing out at 306 yards.

Enhanced overall performance by improving ball speed, increase in distance through the bag and an improved softer feel for more responsiveness off the club (particularly the shorter clubs and putter).

To do all that we developed one of thinnest urethane covers in golf, at just 0.0275" thick (ProV1 is 0.0300" by comparison) and a new, faster core that we've dubbed SeedSpeed.

What does all that mean?

Well, this ones the perfect combination of distance, feel and short game spin.

    An unparalleled ball/player relationship

    For now, I have only tested the SEED SD 01 THE PRO ONE ball in putting, chipping, and pitching. I will provide feedback when I have the opportunity to test it for longer shots.The packaging is unique and perfectly aligns with the values of the SEED brand. No frills, straight to the point. Each box of three balls is labeled with the ball number: 1, 2, 3, and 4. It’s a detail, but it also helps distinguish itself from other brands.During putting and chipping, the sound produced by the ball is very "soft" and gentle. As soon as you start pitching, the sound becomes much crisper, like that of a very high-quality ball. This is very pleasant. The ball comes off the clubface with confidence.Feel of the ball: The feel of the ball is one of the most enjoyable I’ve ever experienced. If you have the opportunity to use firmer grips, you can feel the ball like never before. This helps refine your game during practice.Ball flight: The ball flight during pitching is quite similar to other "pro" balls. The spin generated by the ball is high, which gives you a greater range of play options around the green.Probably the most underrated ball. I haven't had the chance to evaluate it in all conditions yet, but for the short game, it has nothing to envy from other brands. On the contrary. You feel completely confident when it’s your turn to play. You become one with your ball. Definitely worth trying.
